We took delivery of our new Spartan Engine 61 on Wednesday May 16th. We will be training and equipping the engine over the next few weeks and getting it ready to put into service. Thanks to Metro Fire and Spartan on getting our engine delivered ahead of schedule.
This pumper features a Metro Star cab with seating for 4, EMS cabinet, 1,250 gallons of water and 30 gallons of foam, side mount 1500gpm Waterous pump with triple crosslays, front bumper preconnect with raised lid, Whelen Pioneer brow, telescopic and side scene lights, TFT Deck Gun with 18" Extend-A-Gun, beside the tank ladders as well as hard suction hose storage, dump valve with telescopic ...chute in the rear center compartment, back up camera, USB ports throughout the cab, Spartan’s heavy duty air conditioning system, Spartan's APS (airbag) Safety System with steering wheel, knee and full side curtain airbags along with Metro Fire's equipment mounting package and a compliment of loose equipment.
